Booking Terms

All enquiries should be made by email to Francesca Burke at frankieburke@optusnet.com.au or by phone on 0409 706 817 if you do not have access to email.

Please include full names of guests, ages of children, check in and check out dates, time of arrival and any special dietary requirements. Rooms will be allocated by the booking officer dependant on number of guests at time of stay. During the ski peak and off peak, all rates include a Buffet breakfast and a 3 course dinner for 6 days of the week. Outside these seasons the lodge operates on a self-catering basis.

Bookings of 5 nights or more within entitlement have preference up to 1st May. 50% of Tariff payable to confirm booking. Balance due by 1st May when deposit and full payment is required.

After 1st of May, bookings of less than 5 nights can be made and confirmed on full payment.

Whilst every effort is made to accommodate requests for specific rooms, there can be no guarantee given. The Board has a responsibility to accommodate as many members and guests as possible, according to demand.

Due to the popularity of certain periods outside the ski season and the Interim ski season, in fairness to all members a ballot will be conducted by the Board for accommodation over Easter, Christmas and the New Year periods. A ballot will be drawn 3 months before the particular holiday period and members who have registered their booking will go into a ballot and those names drawn in order will be offered accommodation until capacity is reached.

Children are defined as being under 15 years of age at time of stay. 

Infants and Tots who don't use a bed stay free. Cots are available on a request basis.

One night stays during the ski season will attract a $15 additional changeover fee.

Reservations will be automatically released if payment is not received within 7 days.

A fee of $20 per booking will be charged for any alteration made to a reservation after the booking has been made.

Karels has a no credit policy. Credits will only be given where the cancelled accommodation is relet.

Refunds are only possible for compassionate reasons assessed by the Board. "No Shows" without notice will not be considered. 

Visitors may be invited to stay for dinner with the Manager approval at a cost of $30 per head.

2015 Maintenance Levy is $170.00 per unit holding, payable by 11 May 2015. Late payments attract an additional fee of $10 per unit month or part thereof. Any levy arrears must be paid before bookings can be accepted.
